Deutsches Studentenwerk, the German National Association for Student Affairs, is the project partner responsible for coordination with student services institutions on the national level. Further project partners include the public student services organisations, the Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe and the Studierendenwerk Freiburg-Schwarzwald  where the European Student Card will be tested in the field.

Associate and supporting partners of the project are the German Rectors Conference, Hochschulrektorenkonferenz and the project Campus Card Berlin.

Deutsches Studentenwerk is networking among relevant stakeholders, including universities, ministries on the federal and regional level, and all public student services organisations in Germany.

Connected Universities

Karlsruhe institute of Technology and University of Freiburg as part of EUCOR – the European Campus with Studierendenwerk Karlsruhe

EUCOR – The European Campus first conducted a comparative analysis of the services provided by the student cards of its 5 member universities. The consortium was also interested in the services targeted primarily by students when they move to a partner university. Access to university restaurant and library services were identified.
A cohort of mobility students between Karlsruhe, Freiburg and Strasbourg has also been identified and exchanges are currently underway to test the solution.
