European Student Card Conference 2017

2017.06.06

Discover the vision, potential and practical implementation of a European student identity card at an international conference in the framework of the EU-project « European Student Card » (ESC).

The ESC conference on June 6, 2017 presents the current state in the technical development of a European student ID card that could give access to services as diverse as library use, student restaurants, copy machines, or local transportation – one card for different services and all this with cross-border functionality!

Additionally to the comprehensive presentation of the idea of a European Student Card, the conference focuses on the opportunities in Student Services, and looks at the challenges which might come along with its implementation. You will get an overview about the current state of development, the progress of the EU-project and you will have the possibility to see the first prototype of a European Student Card. A practical workshop allows the verification of technical requirements.

The conference is aimed at leaders in higher education who are interested in the digital future of student cards, and is particularly useful for directors of IT services or student services in European institutions of higher education.

The conference takes place on June 6, 2017 at the University of Münster in Western Germany.

It is open to all and participation is free of charge, however, additional costs might apply if you also attend the following EUNIS annual congress on June 7-9, 2017. The conference language is English.
